We celebrated 8 years earlier this month with one of my favorite sales that (I hope) had something for everyone. But yesterday (May 29th) officially marks 8 years of doing business on Fulton Street.

Our anniversary is a big day for me - I think about how much our little shop has grown. How our Brooklyn neighborhood, Clinton Hill, has informed my life (both in and out of the store).

And, this year especially, how grateful I am that this community encourages us to be unapologetic in expressing ourselves candidly: that trust has shaped how vigorously we communicate what we love, what inspires us, excites us. And, yes, sometimes what triggers us. That's trust.

Without it we could not be the business we are. My appreciation for you allowing us-to-be-us for eight years is endless - thank you.

There are a host of changes I would like to share going into our 9th year. Most of them simply make wine easier to receive: our first free national shipping policy, expanded NYC delivery zone and (!) even a 6 bottle discount. All of these exciting updates are below in detail.

One of the hardest but most important changes to make: reducing our case discount to 10%. It hasn't been an easy decision but, to be honest, costs have simply increased faster than our margin can support. It’s a little surreal; the rising costs touch everything from packing materials and insurance premiums to the simplest of maintenance needs.

This updated discount puts us in step with our peers in NYC retail but - far more importantly - it allows us to maintain our level of integrity in curating our inventory, supporting our team the way we believe is right (Healthcare, PTO, Paid Family Leave for FT staff) and taking care of our community. I appreciate your understanding around this.
