A new wine for the estate. From Mosel Fine Wine: The 2022er Trarbach Burgberg Riesling Kabinett was made from early harvested fruit around 83° Oechsle and was fermented down to fruity-styled levels of residual sugar. It offers a quite backward and softly earthy nose made of pear, earthy spices, and whipped cream. The wine proves superbly playful and elegant on the palate, where a touch of Spätlese creaminess is beautifully wrapped into ripe zest and citrusy elements. This debut vintage is a winner!
