I had a small batch of red Pinot Noir from the 2022 vintage, but it slipped into a ‘ macération carbonique ’ during fermentation. I'm not a big fan of this style, so I decided not to bottle it solo. The carambolage thus became a ‘ gros carambolage ’ (mass carambolage) as all four of my grape varieties are involved. The wine has remained true to its previous style.
