This is 100% Sangiovese from estate parcels in Montalcino, farmed organically and biodynamically. The fruit is hand-harvested and fermented with native yeasts in concrete, with a gentle, extended maceration to keep tannins fine. Élevage follows in large neutral oak casks for roughly a year before a short rest in bottle. The 2021 is bright and precise, layering red cherry, rose, and blood-orange lift over subtle spice and a stony, saline line; the tannins are sleek and savory, giving a long, poised finish
