Always the first picked and snappiest of the Jager wines. Their take on '23:

July was a typically hot month. The weather was very variable in August: cool at the beginning, hot in the middle with a heavy thunderstorm at the west end of Weissenkirchen- there were some damage due to hail in the westerly vineyards. Luckily the damage wasnÂŽt permanent, and despite everything the vines flourished.
The changeable weather at the beginning of September settled down by the end of the month and it continued to be warm and sunny in October which was perfect for a quick and easy harvest.
The harvest started on the 3th of October and lasted till the 28th.
The character of the vintage 2023 was influenced by a short period of cool and rainy weather during an average summer.
So, the character of the vintage is: warm, full-bodied, creamy, fruity with a light elegant acidity and superb mineral balance:
