This cuvée is 100% Chardonnay from the Sézanne. The current release is base 2019 with 20% réserve wine from 2018 and 2017, fermented and aged entirely in stainless steel, then finished Extra Brut at 2.5 g/L. It’s taut and chalk-lined—lemon zest and green apple with white-flower lift, a finely creamy bead, and a clean, saline finish. The label is by Pierre Hugot—the young winemaker behind Champagne Hélène, who previously worked at Comte Liger-Belair in Vosne-Romanée (as well as Chavy-Chouet, Roulot, and Vaccelli)
