The marc is matured in oak before blending, and the finished mistelle rests at least a year in barrel before release, yielding a naturally sweet, vinous liqueur wine at roughly 16–20% alcohol. Aromas suggest quince paste, orange peel, and toasted nuts; the palate is supple and persistent, with a fine lift from the spirit and a long, warming finish.
