1991 Luis Pato Vinhas Velhas Branco, Beiras, Portugal
$71.99
The second ever vintage of VV Branco. This wine is a roughly equal parts blend of Bical, Cercial, and Maria Gomes, fermented and aged in french oak barrels for about 9 months, then held at the winery in bottle for about 30 (!) years. Incredible balance of salted pineapple, and mango, white tea, and wildflowers. Has aged like great dry Riesling!
