From the limestone–clay heart of Castiglione Falletto, Monprivato is a single-cru Nebbiolo vinified traditionally: long maceration, spontaneous fermentation, and extended aging in large neutral botti. The 2006 vintage—structured, slow-evolving, and classically proportioned—shows Monprivato’s signature interplay of depth and finesse: red cherry, dried orange peel, rose petal, and sweet spices layered over fine, chalky tannins.
