Egly Millésime 2012 is a blend of 70% Pinot Noir and 30% Chardonnay, sourced from the domaine’s oldest vines in Ambonnay Grand Cru, rooted in clay and limestone soils. Fermented with no malolactic fermentation, the wine is both fermented and aged in barrel, with 15% new oak. It then spent an extended 96–100 months sur latte, allowing for remarkable depth, complexity, and finesse.
