2013 Luis Pato 'Informal' Espumante Rosado Bruto, Bairrada, Portugal
$23.00
Wine > Label. 100% Baga, a sparkling rose coming from the Panasqueira vineyard. The Baga is harvested at the end of August from the same vines that produce the red wine. 2014 was a relatively low ripeness vintage, showing off Baga on a more melon, citrus fruited end of the spectrum, as well as the classic smokiness of Vinha Pan. After a short maceration, it is fermented in stainless steel, and then again in bottle in the Champagne method, after which it spends almost 9 years on the lees. 2023 disgorgement.
