Drawn from Royal Tokaji’s top volcanic parcels—including Betsek, Szent Tamás, and Mézes Mály—Gold Label is a micro-selection of the most intensely botrytized Furmint and Hárslevelű from a high-acid, long-hang 2013 vintage. Aszú berries were macerated into a concentrated base wine before extended maturation in Hungarian oak, producing a wine of remarkable density and tension: apricot leather, marmalade, saffron, honeycomb, and a powerful mineral–smoke edge from the region’s rhyolite and tuff soils. Despite its deep sweetness, the architecture is laser-carved—electric acidity, precise phenolics, and a finish that unspools for minutes. A reference-grade 6 Puttonyos built for generations.
