From the family’s organically farmed vineyard in Napa’s cool Oak Knoll District, this Cabernet Franc is picked on the earlier side for lift and detail and fermented with native yeasts in small tanks, mostly destemmed, with gentle daily pump overs to keep the tannins fine. Élevage is deliberately quiet—long time in neutral French oak (older barrels and puncheons) to preserve vineyard voice—then bottling with minimal intervention
