País from Story Vineyard in Amador County, planted in 1894 near an old mining shaft. The vines are dry-farmed and own-rooted. This was Dani’s first attempt at working with Pais in California, although he has plenty of experience from working with it in Chile. Foot-stomped, fermented whole-cluster and then aged in used oak.
