Our original estate vineyard, The Haven is located at 1,200 feet elevation between the tiny town of Occidental and the Pacific Ocean. It lies on an east-west ridge and from its south-facing slope, one can see the fog-enshrouded ocean in the distance. There are approximately 40 different rootstock and clonal combinations within this small four-acre vineyard. It is a microcosm of the diversity of soils within the Sonoma Coast. The Haven is very cool and late ripening therefore it is one of the last sites that we harvest every year. We farm it using organic materials and biodynamic methods, not certified.  - Littorai
