‘Bresa’ is a microscopic single-parcel Chardonnay from the oldest block of Bald Mountain Vineyard (planted 1972, Wente clone) on fractured volcanic rock, dry-farmed at elevation in the Mayacamas above Sonoma Valley. Production is truly tiny—about one barrel. Expect a taut, mineral expression with concentrated citrus and orchard fruit, fine phenolic grip, and a long, stony finish—Bald Mountain turned up to twelve.
