From Demeter-certified, biodynamically farmed Cabernet Franc parcels on the left bank of the Vienne, where sand, gravel, and light clay yield a lifted, aromatic style of Chinon. Hand-harvested fruit is fermented with native yeasts and aged in cement and older barrels to preserve purity and crunch.
The 2020 shows dark raspberry and redcurrant, graphite, leafy spice, and a subtle pyrazine snap, framed by fine, supple tannins.
