Made from the domaine’s oldest vines (60-80 years) in one of Bourgeuil’s greatest lieu-dits, Grand Mont.
Soil: Clay, limestone soils
Viticulture: Farmed organically; hand harvested. Yields are kept very low at 30 hectoliters/hectare.
Vinification: 100% de-stemmed, vinified in open-top wooden containers for 25 days. Fermented using indiginous yeasts.
Aging: The wine is aged 24 months in new wood, racked 3 times, and bottled unfiltered.
Production: Only 4,000 bottles produced.
