The 2021er Elbling (with L-Nr. 2-22) is made from fruit picked on young vines along natural lines, i.e. without intervention, and was bottled unfiltered and with little SO2 added (20 mg/l). It offers a stunning nose of white flowers, minerals, and citrusy and minty elements, all wrapped in some subtle oak. The wine proves stunningly playful and precise even if still quite tart on the palate and leaves a superbly fresh and elegant feel in the animating and hugely precise finish. The aftertaste already hints at greatness to come. What a success! 2023-2026
