2021 Yann Bertrand Fleurie Vieilles Vignes, Beaujolais, France

$48.99

The Fleurie Vieilles Vignes comes from vines that are over 60 years old. This cuvée is aged for longer in used barrels, then held back for an additional year before release. Bertrand calls this a ‘particularly fragile’ parcel in the Grand Pré vineyard, with very acidic and sandy soils. Something of the flagship wine at the Bertrands’. Semi-carbonic ferment, 7-9 months in old barrel, no SO2 added.
