Clavoillon is a single, 4.79-hectare parcel that Domaine Leflaive has largely in hand (plantings 1959–1988) on clay-limestone just north of Les Pucelles. Farming is biodynamic, harvests are manual, and the must sees a long, gentle pneumatic press before settling 24 hours and going to oak for fermentation. Élevage runs 12 months in barrel (about 22% new; mix of Allier/Vosges) followed by 6 months in tank, with only a light fining/filtration if needed. The 2023 is precise and Puligny-true—citrus and white-flower lift over a chalky, saline line—showing the site’s quiet power and cut.
