2022 Susana Esteban 'Vinyle', Vinho Regional Alentejano, Portugal

Susana collaborated with Emmanuel Lassaigne in 2020 to make a traditional method sparkling wine in Portalegre, initially fermented in two barrels from Lassaigne's cellar in Champagne. That wine is just now about to be disgorged, but Susana never sent the barrels back, and she decided to make a special white wine from the same vineyard so as to be able to continue to highlight that special place and cooperage. The wine, of which only two 500 L barrels are produced each year (she only has the two barrels), is called Vinyl, an homage to Emmanuel's passion for DJing.
