From estate-owned vineyards in the heart of the Dundee Hills—on Jory soils, volcanic ash over clay—the grapes were hand-picked, fermented with native yeasts in small open-top tanks with gentle daily pump overs, and aged for approximately 16 months in French oak barrels (40% new) before bottling unfiltered with a light touch of sulfur. The 2023 is vivid and elegant—wild cherry and red raspberry layered with rose petal and spice, backed by cool volcanic lift and fine, polished tannins that lead to a long, vibrant, mineral-driven finish.
