2023 Domaine Pierre Guillemot Savigny-les-Beaune Les Grands Picotins, Cote de Beaune, France
$64.00
The fruit for this cuvée comes from Les Grands Picotins, a Savigny lieu-dit planted on deep clay-limestone soils at the base of the slope, where cooler air and richer soils produce a naturally supple, early-drinking style of Pinot Noir. The domaine farms and harvests by hand, destems the fruit fully, and ferments with native yeasts in traditional open tanks. Élevage takes place in older barrels to preserve freshness and site expression, and racking is kept minimal before bottling without fining.
