2023 Pierre Girardin [Côtes du Jura] Chardonnay “Abeilles”
$75.00
Drawn from limestone–marl soils, ‘Abeilles’ is Chardonnay made for clarity and lift: whole-cluster pressed, fermented with native yeasts, and raised mainly in neutral barrels ouillé (topped up) to preserve tension rather than oxidative breadth. It opens with cool citrus and green-apple tones, a faint wild-flower/honeyed echo true to its name, and a chalk-saline line that keeps the palate long and finely textured.
Arrives October 2025.
