Bell Summe vineyard is located in the heart of the Russian River Valley. Hillside and organically farmed, a section of the vineyard is planted to Swan clone Pinot Noir on the rootstock 420A in Goldridge soils. 20% of the blend undergoes a short carbonic fermentation for 8-10 days, and the balance of the fruit is whole cluster pressed and fermented in barrel. These components are then assembled in the spring of 2025 without fining or filtration. The wine undergoes secondary fermentation in bottle to achieve 5 atmospheres of pressure. After 12 months on lees in the bottle, the wine was hand riddled and disgorged with zero dosage.
