2025 Outward 'Sendero Luminoso' Red Blend, USA
$28.00
El Sendero Luminoso, which translates to “The Shining Path,” is named after an iconic rock climb in El Potrero Chico, Mexico that we had the fortune of climbing a few years ago. Here's a video for those interested!
This wine is our play on the classic ‘GSM’ Rhône blend, but instead of Grenache, we feature Vaccarèse—one of the rarest grapes of Chateauneuf-du-Pape, and a grape planted in only two vineyards in all of North America.
Like our white blend, Sendero brings together three distinct central coast vineyards and appellations we feel represent the diversity of terroir in the place we call home.
The 2025 Sendero Luminoso includes select barrels of Syrah from Starfire, which we farm (60%), Mourvèdre from Derby (30%), and Vaccarèse from Old Oak (10%).
Tasting notes: raspberries, blackberries, violets, herbs de Provence, bacon fat
organic / native yeast / unfined / unfiltered
