Charles Dufour Coteaux Champenois 'Vin de Comptoir' Blanc L21, Champagne, France
$110.00
A rare and singular still wine from Champagne, crafted from Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Pinot Blanc. The exact blend is ever-evolving, drawn from a reserve solera (‘assemblage perpétuel’) that Charles Dufour began in 2010 and ages entirely in barrel. This solera also holds history—enhanced by the addition of aged Champagnes from Dufour’s father, including vintages 1988, 1989, 1990, and 1997, in a practice known as ‘remise en cercle.’ The result is a Coteaux Champenois unlike any other—layered, complex, and deeply expressive of both time and place.
