2021 Domaine Elian Da Ros 'Outre Rouge', Cotes du Marmandais, France
$28.00
This rouge clair (light red) is something between a red and rosé, and is produced from a blend of 85% Abouriou, with the rest equal parts Malbec, Syrah, and Cabernet Franc. The grapes are vinified using three different techniques - carbonic maceration, saignée, and press - then blended in tank, and aged in foudres on the fine lees to make an unusual and surprising wine that’s perfect when served slightly chilled.
