2022 Jeremy Arnaud Bourgogne Tonnerre Les Veuillots, Burgundy, France
$39.99
Normally, Jérémy Arnaud vinifies each of his plots separately, but ‘Les Veuillots’ is an exception. This 1.7-hectare family parcel, densely planted on marl-limestone soils with full southern exposure, is special enough to warrant three distinct expressions—each shaped solely by its élevage: stainless steel, cement egg, or wooden barrel.
This is Bois, the version aged in used 228L oak barrels.
Country/Region: Chablis, Burgundy, France
Grape Variety: 100% Chardonnay
Producer: Jérémy Arnaud
Farming: Certified organic. Marl-limestone soils.
Winemaking: Whole clusters are pressed, and fermentation begins spontaneously. Bois is then aged in oak, bottled unfiltered, with just a whisper of sulfur.

Jeremy Arnaud's Textured Chablis
Jeremy Arnaud's style of Chablis allows for the wines to fully breathe in the cellar and be themselves without trying to fit a steely mold that – frankly – the appellation doesn’t neatly fit into anymore.
