2024 Ca di Press Dolcetto d'Alba, Piedmont, Italy
$28.00
Sourced from old-vine plots in the Perno zone of Monforte d’Alba, the vines here grow on sandy-clay soils with southeast and northeast exposures. The fruit is hand-harvested, destemmed (not crushed), and naturally fermented in stainless steel for about 10–15 days; the wine then ages 6 months in stainless steel tanks followed by 2 months in bottle.
